Mount Stuart Wedding
A few weeks ago I was back on the Isle of Bute to photograph the glamorous wedding of Adriana & Ricardo. I had the pleasure of meeting them and spending an afternoon with them the previous year in Glasgow. A few minutes after being charmed by the delightful couple, I couldn’t wait to photograph their Italian/Scottish wedding.
On the wedding day, I was incredibly excited with the opportunity to photograph Mount Stuart. A bit of sunshine allowed me to play more with the lighting than I’m usually afforded. My friend, Fabio & I started off photographing Ricardo and his mates. After capturing some dashing photos of Ricardo, we made our way over to Adriana, who was in a bubbly mood and looking absolutely gorgeous. They were getting ready at two picturesque Mount Stuart properties: Quien cottages & Kean’s Cottage. The light in Quien’s cottages was fantastic and Kean’s Cottage was stunning. Both Adriana & Ricardo were relaxed and happy on the day along with their fun loving wedding parties. The relationship between Adriana and her father was particularly delightful as it was obvious he had a soft spot for his adorable daughter.
After the getting ready photos we were soon off to the always spectacular venue. The couple had an eye for detail. Their vision and the amazing staff at Mount Stuart insured the venue was decorated beautifully. Soon Adriana’s father was walking her down the aisle in the white chapel and into Ricardo’s loving arms. Following the lighthearted ceremony, everyone went outside for group photographs.
