Kyla and Zac’s beach wedding at the RUI resort in Cancun was a laid-back, sun-soaked celebration filled with love, laughter, and a whole lot of character. The couple, known for their easygoing nature and love for sleep, exchanged vows under the Mexican sun with family and friends and soon returned to freezing Edmonton temperatures.

Kyla and Zac brought their Canadian charm to the sandy shores of Cancun, creating a relaxed atmosphere that mirrored their personalities. The warmth of the Mexican sun was the perfect setting for their carefree and fun-loving wedding.

A huge thanks to Louis and Lydia, friends and former clients, for recommending us to Kyla and Zac. Was a delight spending a 3 days hanging out with you and your fun family!

The RUI resort beach provided a beautiful backdrop for Kyla and Zac’s celebration, with its golden sands and crystal-clear waters. The destination wedding brought a touch of paradise to their big day, creating memories that will last a lifetime.

The wedding was a gathering of family and friends, each contributing their unique sense of humor to the mix. From the ceremony, with Zac’s dad acting as the celebrant, to the dance floor, joy and laughter echoed throughout the day, creating a light and enjoyable atmosphere.

The wedding speeches were a highlight, filled with humor and heartwarming anecdotes that had everyone in stitches. The lively characters present added a special touch to the celebration, making it a day filled with genuine laughter and unforgettable moments.

As a photographer, I was thrilled to capture the genuine moments of love and joy that unfolded throughout the day. From candid glances to heartfelt vows, each photograph tells the story of Kyla and Zac’s special day in a fun and relaxed way.

A few days after the wedding, Kyla and Zac took their adventurous spirits to the next level with a trash the dress photo session. Amidst the beauty of Cancun’s beaches, the couple embraced the carefree moments.

Proposal at the Marble Chapel: Jeff’s Heartwarming Surprise for Saya at Mount Stuart, Isle of Bute

In the tranquil setting of Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute in Scotland, Jeff orchestrated a heartwarming surprise for Saya, culminating in a proposal at the Marble Chapel.

The Isle of Bute is celebrated for its natural beauty and historic charm, making it an ideal setting for significant moments. Mount Stuart House, a neo-Gothic mansion, with its exquisite architecture and lush surroundings, created a perfect backdrop for Jeff’s proposal.

Jeff had started organizing this for Saya more than a month ago and was kind enough to invite me to capture the moment. They toured the house and then at the very end he lead her hand in hand to the Marble chapter where he got down on one knee. Witnessing an engagement is a beautiful thing. The surprise and joy on Saya’s face was priceless. After the proposal, the couple enjoyed a delightful afternoon tea at Mount Stuart. This elegant experience offered beautiful views and a refined atmosphere.

After the proposal, the couple explored Mount Stuart and the surrounding gardens, where I had the pleasure of taking their engagement photos.

Jeff’s proposal to Saya at Mount Stuart’s Marble Chapel was a lovely and memorable event. The Isle of Bute and the charming Mount Stuart House and their dedicated staff created the perfect setting for their love story to continue.

Incorporating Scottish tradition into their celebration, Jo and Andy added bagpipes to their ceremony – a nod to the cultural heritage that surrounded them. These small touches combined with their personal style beautifully, making their day uniquely theirs.

The reception was a lively affair, filled with touching speeches and heartfelt laughter. Friends and family joined in the celebration, creating a dance floor full of energy and joy. I did my best to document these fleeting but meaningful moments, ensuring that Jo and Andy will have lasting memories of their special day.
