Boyd was born and raised in Montana.  A vast and beautiful land which remains largely unspoiled by its small population.   He studied fine art and graphic design and continues to works as visual artist creating photography, films, and ceramics.  He took one photography class in university, other than that he is entirely self taught.  While traveling his passion for preserving memories surfaced.  Now he photographs and films everything he witnesses.

He climbs trees, poles, and buildings, lays on the ground, gets in the water and just about anything that’s physically possible to find the right composition.
