Claudio and I truly had an amazing time as Susannah and Mark’s wedding photographers.  Susannah is certainly one of the happiest and most laid back brides I have come across.  If she was nervous at all I had no idea.  I think the first thing you notice about Susannah is her gorgeous smile which she was sharing with everyone throughout the day.  Not long after we arrived she was in her dress and looking truly breathtaking.  We arrived at Dunkeld Cathedral to witness a lovely ceremony.  Shortly after we took a few photographs in the garden.  I loved that they didn’t want many group photos.  I love wedding photojournalism and simply telling the story of the day rather than making sure everyone gets their photograph taken with the bride and groom.  We took a few couples photographs outside the church and I loved watching them interact with one another.  They simply knew how to make each other laugh.  I love laughter and believe being able to laugh together is perhaps the most important thing you can share with your partner.  Mark is a clever man with a fantastic sense of humor.  Throughout the day he was always bringing laughter and joy to all in his presence.  After the church we head to the reception which took place at Eastwood House and the day couldn’t have been more perfect for photography and video.  Overcast during the day and sunny for the last few hours of daylight.  The speeches by the father of the bride, groom, and best man all poked fun at one another (as well as the bride) and had everyone in hysterics.  One thing I would say about Susannah and Mark…they are dancers!!  And they danced the night away.  Their guests joined in and followed their fantastic lead and it made for a fantastic end to their day.  It was a wonderful celebration enjoyed by all and it was truly beautiful to capture.
