I was born and raised in Montana. A vast and beautiful land which remains largely unspoiled by its small population. It was here I studied fine art and graphic design. I took one photography class in university, other than that I am entirely self taught. While traveling my passion for preserving memories surfaced. Now I photograph everything.

I love my family and my friends. What I want from life is the time to enjoy them. I am delighted we can’t choose our family, as I don’t think I would have chosen this well. I have a brother and a sister who are absolutely two of my favorite people to spend time with. I photograph my friends and family whenever they let me.

I love light.

I love music and hope to learn to play the guitar someday.

I will wade into a lake or climb down a cliff to get the right photograph.

I spent the summer of 2006 traveling around Europe. During this summer I met Anna, I saw her sitting in a cafe in Crete and thought to myself “I would like talk to her.”

The rest of my summer was spent in Crete.

Neither of us found distance enjoyable and I finally moved to Edinburgh in 2009. I love living in Europe because of how quickly you can be in a completely different culture.

As I find with vast majority of people Anna doesn’t like her picture being taken. I have to be sneaky.

She is more likely to cooperate if I am in the photograph as well.

Even if its not all of me.

We are often quite silly.

I love life.
